Kids and summer vacations
Kids generally love
vacations. But there are some parts they don’t always love so much,
doing homework, reading books as they think this is the part of
school activities and in vacations they don't want to do any school
related activities. Kids with certain learning and attention issues
may get particularly antsy in such situations. But you can keep yours
happy and busy—and maybe even using their academic skills.
Worksheets are the
best tool for Parents to keep your kids busy. They can learn the
things while playing and coloring. Just download the worksheets and
print and give it to your kids.

The Benefits of Children Growing Up With Pets
There are always a
question with the parents that will a pet be good for kid or not.
Kids should always be tought about the domestic or farm animals. They
must be tought the benefits of them. I got some good article here
which tells the benefits of pet in the family.
- Pets give unconditional love. They are non-judgmental, and, especially for only children, lonely children, or children who have sibling rivalry or emotional distress, a pet gives them someone to talk to. A pet can comfort, give support, and listen to a child’s troubles without judgment or consequence. And, when playing, a pet can become your child’s partner and best buddy.
- A pet can teach a
child that he doesn’t have to take out his anger or fear on others.
Some children become bullies and if they don’t have a safe place to
share their truest emotions, they may project those emotions onto
other children. Because a pet will love your child no matter what he
says, a pet gives him a confidant, a safe place in which to verbally
pour out his fears and his anger.
- A pet can teach
empathy. Caring for a pet that is so dependent on you teaches
empathy. Your child learns to read your pet’s needs: is he hungry?
Does he need to go outside? Maybe the pet is scared of the wind, rain
or snow and needs to be comforted. Moreover, empathy is the one skill
that can be taught and a skill that bullies often lack.
- A pet can teach
confidence and responsibility. Children can gain confidence by having
the responsibility of caring for a pet. Children as young as three
years old can manage simple tasks such as filling the pet’s water
and food bowls. As your child gets older, he can groom and walk the
pet.
- Animals can help
socialize children and increase verbal skills. You’ve likely seen
even little kids who are still learning to talk attempting to chatter
away with pets. In this way, pets give not only social and emotional
support but also cognitive language skill support to children. A
pet’s simple presence provides verbal stimulus to help your child
practice talking and socializing with another being.
- Pets (and animals in general) can be very therapeutic for children. Studies have shown how pets can help lower blood pressure, speed up recovery time, and reduce stress and anxiety. We see this with troubled children and Autistic children, and, as my horse whisperer friend has, with children who experience PTSD: when they are with animals they can immediately relate because they sense the animals are unconditional in their love and affection.

English capital, small and cursive letters
English language has
3 versions for alphabets
The “capital”
and the “small” versions are also called the print version. These
are widely used. Most books and educational materials use print
version.
The “cursive” is
also knows as written version. Cursive writing is a more natural way
of writing. The pencil flows along the paper without frequent stops
within words. Also people says that Cursive is a better exercise for
strengthening fine motor skills. The connecting letters help the
child to produce smooth, rather than choppy, strokes with the pencil.
In terms of
writing, it’s true that a cursive “b” and “d” look less
like each other than their printed versions. However, current
research into dyslexia and other learning disabilities show that
there’s far more happening in the brain than a simple flip-flip.
Children who struggle with reading and writing are experiencing a
disconnect between the part of the brain that “sees” letters and
the part of the brain that “identifies” letters.

What it would be to teach without worksheets!
There is no denying the fact that visual recognition memory is superior to auditory recognition memory, especially when we are teaching small children. Images process faster and they are retained for longer duration in the mind. If a teacher wants to develop a certain skill set in the children or wants to supplement what she has taught in the class, a worksheet is a perfect teaching aid. Especially one can't imagine teaching mathematics without worksheets.
A basic primary math curriculum includes learning to know basic numbers, sorting, practice counting, number order, subtraction, addition and multiplication. Majority of children faced trouble in the multiplications part of the syllabus. So in this era of Internet it is very easy to find multiplication worksheets, which were extremely helpful in developing their skills. Parents can use these worksheets to keep their little ones busy in the most productive ways and using multiplication worksheets was the best technique.
